Assistant Pastor Robert Marvin Tipton JR.

I started my ministry in 1995 as a preacher and teacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ after I had looked death in the face and almost died in a car accident. I was in a backsliding state. I came to myself when God spared my life, when I thought it was over.

I cried out to the Lord, like Jonah was in the belly of the whale. I ask God to let me stay in prison until I was healed from drugs and alcohol. I was tired of the hellish life I was living.

The Lord heard my cry and picked me up out of the miry clay and from that day on The Lord allowed doors to open for me to begin to preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ to fellow inmates. In the year of 2005, still in confinement, I was ordained as a Preacher of the Gospel and received my license from Pastor Jim Faye of Whites Town, Indiana.

When I was released from Prison, I went back to Indianapolis and went to Greater New Hope Apostolic Church and set under Bishop Anthony Pippens for approximately three years. I received a Preacher’s License at this church. This is where I met my lovely wife and was married.

My wife and I went to Calvary Church and set under Pastor Graves and when he passed away I was ask to be temporary Pastor. I served as temporary Pastor for a short time. We went to Gethsemane Church and set under Pastor Aaron Woodson.

My wife and I decided to join Thy Kingdome Come Church, Pastor Frank Griffin is the Senior Pastor. I was elevated to Assistant Pastor and have been there for five years. My desire is to do all that we can for building the Kingdom of God. I am so grateful for the mercy and grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I have three beautiful daughters, Lashelle Tipton, Alisha Delemore and Geneva Yarbro. I have many grandchildren. In October, 2007 I married Evangelist Maria Tipton. A marriage truly blessed of God.
